Christmas is over

Sunday, December 26, 2004

Greetings and salutations! I hope everyone had a great Christmas. With Mike and Amanda back home in Michigan, I had the place to myself. A lot of people from work invited me over for Christmas dinner, but I would just feel weird spending the day with someone else's family. I DID, however, breakdown and decide to fix myself a nice ham dinner. It...was...good. It was a nice addition to the Piston's game against those Indiana jackholes. I talked to my mother for a bit for the first time in quite a while. A friend from work (a fellow Michigander) gave me the new DVD Shaun of the Dead as a token of the holidays, a movie I'd already seen a few times, but could not WAIT to see again. I was supposed to pick up the kids from the airport Christmas night, but their plane was post-poned until Monday afternoon. Instead, a friend came over and we watched the DVD. The bonus features were pretty good too. That was pretty much my Christmas.

Today was pretty uneventful. I picked up some DVDs first thing, which was a crazy idea because the crowds were more than ridiculous in Burbank. Somehow I lucked out and got everything I went out to get, topped my trip off with some Panda and headed home to enjoy my movies. I spent a little time working on some character sketches for my cartoon, talked to a couple of friends, and went out for a long drive. Like I said, pretty uneventful. Well, it's the last night before Mike and Amanda come home, so I'm going to kickback for a little bit and then hit the sack. I hope everyone's having fun this holiday season. Take care.

P.S.
