'Ring'...it's for me!

So, I'm sitting at my desk at home today and I get a phone call from a number I don't recognize, but I answer it anyway, and the voice says"Billy? Hey, it's me Rob. How's it going, man?" It had been a few days, so I figured he'd forgotten about it, but sure enough Rob Schneider called and we talked for a bit. He wanted to know what I thought of the movie (Big Stan) and we talked about all his training and the breaks and bruises he suffered trying make the fights more authentic. The fights are great in the movie, by the way. He kicks some major butt. I was surprised. I don't know when the movie is actually going to hit the theaters, but go watch it. I'm living proof that he actually cares about what his fans think. We actually had a pretty cool talk. He's a real down to earth guy. I guess stuff like that is one of the few things that are a perk of being in Hollywood instead of back home. But I still miss home...
