So, I went up to the Burbank mall (whatever it's called) today to watch Bewitched at the theater they have and I saw somebody I never expected to see...SANTA CLAUSE!!! The freakin' mall has Santa's Village and a huge train with giant-sized Christmas lights and all the trimmings right smack dab in the middle. Children were lined up to get their pictures taken with Saint Nick. How confusing must that be for a little kid? It's late June and they're decorated for Christmas! It gets earlier every year. Maybe it would be easier if they just made 'Christmas In July' a real holiday. We could have 'Winter Christmas' and 'Summer Christmas'. That way we wouldn't even have to bother taking anything down. We could have a slimmer, younger Santa in flowered shorts with Christmas dolphins carrying him on his way. Santa in June...What the franks and beans is going on here?!
