...and I made it!

So, apparently the plane was able to stay in the air long enough to get me here, so that's good. I actually had three separate flights, including one with a four hour layover in Las Vegas. I'm still poor, though, so Vegas was a bust. The longest leg of my flight was from Vegas to Chicago and I was seated with two VERY energetic teenage girls. The flight was overnight and I was seated at the wing of the plane on the right side window seat facing the front, so the first thing I thought was "Terror At 20,000 Ft". For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, that is the title of a Twilight Zone episode starring William Shatner about a very large 'gremlin' tearing off the wing of the plane. Sometimes I still can't look out windows because of that damned episode, for fear of seeing that face pressed up against the window! It was remade in the movie version with John Lithgow, but it's a little lacking. To add to it, Ms. Congeniality 2 was the in-flight movie, which the girls were fairly excited about, and it co-stars a certain Mr. William Shatner [(gasp!) BUM...DUM...DUM!]. Luckily, it didn't turn out the same way. The only terrifying thing left to do is go to my ex-girlfriend's wedding. Hopefully, I'll be sitting next to some girls there, too.
